soonspins is a DJ mix archive and community radio station with a live chat. by using the site you agree to the rules below. they're short on purpose.
you can use soonspins without an account, but signing up gets you a username and longer chat messages. when you sign up you give us a username, an email, and a password. keep your password to yourself. don't pretend to be someone you're not. one person, one account.
only upload music you made or that you have the rights to share. no ripping other people's songs, no reuploading commercial tracks, no stems you don't own. soonspins is built for independent artists and DJs to share their own work, not for redistributing someone else's. if you upload something you don't have the rights to, we'll take it down and your account may be suspended.
by uploading, you're letting soonspins play your track on the station and list it in the archives, with its title/mood/genre shown to listeners. you keep ownership of your music. we're not buying it from you.
the mix archive is a curated collection of DJ sets. mixes are added by the site admins, not through a public upload form — if you're a DJ and want a set added, reach out (see contact below).

we keep it light. admins can delete chat messages, remove mistagged or rights-violating uploads, and suspend accounts that break the rules. there's no formal appeal process right now — if you think a suspension was a mistake, email us and we'll look.
soonspins is provided "as is." stuff might break. the stream might go down. we don't promise the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or perfect.
to the maximum extent allowed by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages from using the site. if something we did causes you a real problem, our total liability is limited to what you've paid us (which is zero, since the site is free).
